Real-time access to pollen emissions for citizens in Serbia and Croatia with Rapid-E

Rapid-E is participating in the RealForAll project in Serbia and Croatia, aiming to provide valuable real-time information for those living with seasonal allergies. BioSense Institute, also known as the Research and Development Institute for Information Technologies in Biosystems (Serbia), and the City of Osijek (Croatia) purchased this instrument with the main focus of educating end users on the benefits of using aerobiological information to prevent and manage allergy symptoms. Real-time data on pollen emissions is now available to citizens online.

The network of Rapid-E devices measuring real-time airborne pollen concentrations is expected to make a significant impact on aerobiological research, not only regionally but also on a European scale.
